Maritime Security

The U.S. Coast Guard maritime security regulations require that certain facilities, vessels and ports establish a security plan and have it submitted to the U.S. Coast Guard by December 31, 2003. These regulations proved to be cumbersome and many companies did not understand what they must do to comply.

Rushing Marine helped many companies comply with the new requirements by creating company specific security plans for their facilities and vessels. Per the U.S. Coast Guard in Washington D.C., we were also the first in the country to have developed a Vessel Security Plan that was approved. To date we have developed over 20 approved security plans.

Furthermore, Rushing Marine helped our customers implement those new procedures by providing security training, conducting annual security audits and aiding in security drills and exercises.

Rushing Marine provides a team of experienced security consultants that are ready to assist your company with maritime security. Our services include:
  > Security assessments of vessels and facilities
  > Security plans for vessels and facilities
  > Security audits
  > Security training
  > Security drills and exercises
