Maritime Security
The new USCG regulations required certain facilities, vessels, and ports
establish a security plan and have it submitted to the USCG by December
31, 2003. Unfortunately, the regulations proved to become cumbersome and
many companies did not understand what they must do to comply. Rushing
Marine has helped many of our customers with complying with the new
requirements and created company specific security plans for their
facilities and vessels, many of which are either approved or in the
final stages of approval from the USCG. <more> |

Safety &
Health
Our Safety and Health Programs contain the applicable elements of OSHA’s
non-mandatory guidelines and comply with applicable USCG, OSHA, or MSHA
regulations. We provide safety manuals with company specific policies
and procedures. We also provide ongoing involvement in the program
depending on the customer's needs, as well as training and training

Responsible Carrier
Program
The Responsible Carrier Program (RCP) is a Safety Management System
which includes a series of line items identifying certain policies,
procedures and items of equipment which must be in place before a
company can be certified as being in compliance with the RCP. Being a
“Responsible Carrier” is a condition of membership for the American
