All-American Soap Box Derby |

April and Jordan Little, siblings from
Jackson, Missouri, represented the Cape Girardeau area at the 70th
Annual All-American Soap Box Derby in Akron, Ohio.
April and Jordan, along with their mother,
Beth Little, enjoyed a full week of derby activities including a police
escort into Akron, an Akron Aeros baseball game, a dance and a day at
the Akron Zoo.
Race day was Saturday, July 21, 2007.
Unfortunately, Jordan lost on his first trip down the hill, and it being
a single-elimination race, was done for the day. April, however,
won her first two heats and placed 18th out of 150 racers.
